Tagged?

Well, the "tag" thing is another blog addition that I'm adjusting to but I will give this a try.

I've been told to tell five things that many people would not know about me. I'm pretty much an open book and an avid storyteller about my life so there's not much people don't know. I'll give it a shot....

5. I guess just ridiculous preferences that people may not know...I love all things "British". I'm obsessed with British movies (love their humor more than I can say!) and Jane Austin is my favorite author. I have her books scattered around my library with favorite passages marked so I can get weepy at a moment's notice. Also, a big lover of jazz music.

4. I have always had the ability to get unique jobs that I am in NO WAY qualified for! After serving evictions for a rental company, I was hired on as a Veterinarian assistant (people do usually go to school for this!) and with various responsibilities, I was also able to assist in surgeries. I believe I could still spay a cat in a pinch if I needed to!

3. When I am really "moved" by something or affected by something emotionally, I get a bad ache in between my thumb and my pointer finger. It REALLY hurts! I suppose there is something medical to explain it but I haven't figured it out yet. I notice it especially in romantic movies...A couple will declare their love for each other and then..ouch! It's my personal notifier that I am being "swooned"!

2. A few good "nevers"...I've never had a cavity. Never gotten a speeding ticket. Never took geometry in school.

1.. A few years ago, Steph took me to see Stars On Ice and during his performance, Kurt Browning came up into the stands and sat down beside me and we ate out of my popcorn tub together! It's my small brush with fame!

Good job - even I didn't know about your weird thumb barometer!LOL You've hidden that so well during all the movies we've seen.
I bet it went off during "Holiday"
(Jude Law - *swoon*)
Kurt Browning is still a top 10 moment - doesn't he kind of remind you of Tim Nardoni?

Hey - you didn't list who you tagged...

I know...the hand pain is weird and just started a few years ago. I kind of like it.

(Jude Law could potentially require me to have a hand cast!!)

I do think Kurt looks like Tim...crazy like Tim, too! That was a great night!

Hey, Charity. Jane Austin is my favorite too. (Jane Eyre #1)

By the way, I was at the Stars on Ice too. Actually, I've been to something like 8 or 9 of them, and that's the only time anyone has come near us. Although one year when I went with a guy I was seeing (nevermind that) we did get sprayed with ice when someone slid into a stop. That was pretty neat. Also, have I mentioned my "thing" for all things British? I have all kinds of videos and magazines. Weird, huh??!!

Aunt Jamie -
All things British- like Steven Cousins! That was a fun Stars on Ice but my favorite was the first one I went to with you, The one where they did the Simon and Garfunkle (HOW do you spell that)
music.

Thanks for reminding me about Steven. How could I have forgotten??!! We were very close to being like the girls at Elvis concerts. I'm pretty sure I even took a picture of his, um, tush! Ha

Hey there Charity and Matt. I don't know how else to get ahold of you but for logical reasons I ended up here. I just wanted to see how you guys were. I have been praying for you on a regular basis for a while now. I was wondering if you and Matt would be terribly upset if I were to chat over the web with you for a bit once in awhile? Just let me know. If not no problem I am just finally getting internet access on a reg. basis in our apartment out here in Colorado and figured this is as good of time as any to try to reconnect with some old friends and you and Matt fit that discription for me. I always enjoyed the time Matt and I would talk (it wasn't that often but it was enjoyable). Whenever spiritual things came up Matt you always had a very unique perspective and it would always be something that I hadn't thought about. Being a pastor now I could use that sort of mind stretching conversation from time to time. Talk it over and let me know. Thanks, Praying for you Daniel Holcomb Eph 3:20

I gotta be honest, I havent' IM'd anyone in years. I don't even have an Instant messenger on my computer right now, other than google talk, and I only use that as a notifier to let me know if I have any new messages.

You could e-mail me...

Charity, you sent me your video today which was very good, by the way, and I decided to visit your blog again. I haven't looked here in a while and ran across this entry and it made me laugh. Jane Austin is my favorite too, I used to spend hours in the 9th and 10th grade reading her books when I didn't have any friends at school. (Probably because I was reading Jane Austin for fun!lol!) Tim and I have watched every movie that has come out based on her novels and he gets mad if I watch without him. All my friends are jealous that I'm married to a guy who LIKES to watch stuff like that with me. Kurt Browning looks like Tim in high school but not anything like him now--unless Kurt has shaved his head recently...
