Eh.
Icky, hard day.
They're destined to come but just as you forget to prepare yourself..BAM-there they are.
If you haven't purchased the new Casting Crowns cd, you should. The little I've heard of it, the more I believe it's their best one yet.
I thought "East and West" would be my favorite song but my friend Anne made me listen to this one and the words came back to me tonight.
So, I'm posting them for me...and maybe you'll relate to them, too.
Somewhere In The Middle
Somewhere between the hot and the cold
Somewhere between the new and the old
Somewhere between who I am and who I used to be
Somewhere in the middle, You'll find me
Somewhere between the wrong and the right
Somewhere between the darkness and the light
Somewhere between who I was and who You're making me
Somewhere in the middle, You'll find me
Just how close can I get, Lord, to my surrender without losing all control
Fearless warriors in a picket fence, reckless abandon wrapped in common sense
Deep water faith in the shallow end and we are caught in the middle
With eyes wide open to the differences, the God we want and the God who is
But will we trade our dreams for His or are we caught in the middle
Are we caught in the middle
Somewhere between my heart and my hands
Somewhere between my faith and my plans
Somewhere between the safety of the boat and the crashing waves
Somewhere between a whisper and a roar
Somewhere between the altar and the door
Somewhere between contented peace and always wanting more
Somewhere in the middle You'll find me
Just how close can I get, Lord, to my surrender without losing all control
Lord, I feel You in this place and I know You're by my side
Loving me even on these nights when I'm caught in the middle
Caught in the middle

Hmmm, what is going on? WHy is it a icky day? I don't do well with vague...
Have the CD, love it. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite song! They sure do have a way with words in their songs that hit you right where you are!
Ditto on loving the new CD--they are ALL great, but this one does stand out to me already, even though I have only had it a week and a half!
Hope everything is okay...
Casting Crowns came to springfield last night and Ed,Amanda, and I went. It was so amazing. The most worshipful concert I have ever been to. The lyrics of their songs are never shallow and you never have to guess what they are talking about. Like I said it was AMAZING
I have heard the CD once..and I will probably download that song..I already have East to West. I am still pretty hooked on my favorite songs from their last CD, but that song does look very good. Thanks for sharing it..
